<p>&#8220;Hi! I&#8217;m Oskar Christensen from Denmark, and I just finished an 8-month internship with the <a href="https://careers.trginternational.com/departments/marketing" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Marketing team at TRG International</a>.</p>

<p>School is great, but nothing beats real-life experience, and that is something that an internship at TRG will give you. I have been positively surprised by the freedom you get as an intern; most notable is the <a href="../../../../com/trginternational/blog/diversity-and-inclusion-through-internship-trg.html" rel="noopener" target="_blank">ability to work from anywhere and on different tasks</a>.</p>
<p>The opportunity is invaluable when you are just starting your career, as it allows you to discover your interests and passions while giving you a better overview of what working in this field entails.</p>
<p>The way TRG treats their interns makes me feel more like an actual employee. I always feel that my ideas are valued as highly as the knowledge I have gained from working with my more experienced co-workers.</p>
<p style="color: #252525">TRG had a lot of great events, but I especially enjoyed the company trip to the beautiful Phu Quoc island, where I participated in a bunch of team-building exercises, a very entertaining talent show, and a nice company dinner party. I was also fortunate to attend the company&#8217;s Christmas party, which I really appreciated since it was my first Christmas in a foreign country away from my family.</p>

<p style="color: #252525">I have learned to work more independently while still being able to ask my amazing colleagues for help when needed or learn different topics through <a href="https://www.trginternational.com/events/list/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">TRG’s virtual talks and their knowledge-sharing program</a>. I also had the chance to talk to other interns from all over the world during the ice-breaking sessions.</p>
<p style="color: #252525">Compared to when my internship started, I have learned a lot about the industry. The knowledge gained will greatly benefit me in the future.</p>
<p style="color: #252525">Overall, it has been a beyond-expected experience for an international intern like me to experience working for an international company and to observe cultural differences both in and outside of work. The experiences I have been through and the things I have learned will be something I can use for the rest of my life, especially since my goal is to work internationally.</p>
<p style="color: #252525">I would like to thank TRG for giving me this opportunity. Special thanks to the members of the Marketing team that I have been working alongside, my supervisor, Ms. Quynh, and the whole HR team, especially Mr. Nhan, who recruited me and has been a great help during my internship.&#8221;</p>
