Overview
Founded in 1990, Japan Vietnam Petroleum Company (JVPC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the ENEOS Group of Japan.
JVPC planned a comprehensive upgrade of its technology platform, including the implementation of the latest version of Infor SunSystems. However, the company wanted to keep customizations to an absolute minimum, as the primary objective of the project was to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
At the same time, JVPC was preparing for a transfer of ownership to a new parent company, which would require a corporate name change and the establishment of a new legal entity. As a result, TRG had to carefully evaluate every requirement and consideration in order to design the most practical and viable implementation approach.
