Since we are interning in the field of Project Management in IT Industry, choosing the topic will help us improve our understanding and knowledge about managing projects.
Agile project management is a recursive technique that is divided into several sprints/iterations throughout the course of the project. These iterations can last several weeks depending on the project complexity and the size. Each iteration involves planning and is reviewed daily, with identified errors being rectified accordingly. Lessons learned from issues in the previous iterations are used to avoid the occurrence of similar issues in subsequent iterations.
Applying this technique helps save time and cost for the company as well as the client. Since we do not need to work on the features that are not required by the client/stakeholders/customers. It helps improve the overall efficiency of the project team.
Understanding the technique is the key to your project success in your time with TRG as an intern or an employee and to thrive in the IT industry.
