Work-life balance” is no longer a new concept and becoming an important aspects of a healthy work environment. However, finding a suitable balance between work and daily living is a challenge that many workers face. Particularly during the COVID-19 situation, the issue of work-life balance has been further raised, and flexibility and wellbeing are more demanded than ever. Workers, especially Gen Z, who is being to be the dominant workforce, are pushed to advocate for a permanently flexible work situation. As a result, most of adult Gen Z employees make work-life balance, working from home and flexible vacation time a top priority when looking for a job. Since Gen Z employees possess significantly different expectations compared to older generations, understanding work-life balance of this group plays an important role to build one company’s culture.
