With properties spanning across the country, all are strategically located, the brand is definitely skilled in mixing comfort, functionality, and fun.

Its flagship property, Tune Hotels KLIA-KLIA2, has been crowned Asia’s Best Airport Hotel by the World Travel Awards for four consecutive years to date.

Unrestricted access: A costly risk for hotel operations

Tune Hotels is rapidly expanding its footprint. Subsequently, this leads to a series of issues, one of which is onboarding new finance team members who struggle to navigate both the fast-paced hospitality environment and the existing complex business IT ecosystem.

An excessive number of training business units have been blindly created, making new employees struggle to identify the correct one for their tasks. Even experienced users can waste time navigating through the maze of these BUs, searching for the relevant one. This inefficiency leads to increased onboarding time, reliance on colleagues for guidance, and potential errors and delays.

Additionally, the hotel also experienced gaps in access rights control. The majority of users have unrestricted access to all functions and business units, leading to:

SunSystems Cloud features advanced role-based access control, allowing Tune Hotels to define specific roles (e.g., Accounts Payable Clerk, General Accountant, Financial Controller) and assign suitable access to functions and business units based on those roles. With granular access controls, Tune Hotels can better comply with industry regulations and internal policies, as they can precisely define and audit who has access to what data and functions.
