There’s a deep-rooted belief that specialists, or experts in one specific area, are always more valuable than generalists.

Hence the phrase: Jack of all trades, master of none.

Yet, in the current world with constant changes and developments along with the dawn of various careers, perhaps we should reconsider this statement. Is it still true? How does it affect us when finding a place in the working world? And if this phrase is worth reconsideration, what can we do?
