Knowledge Sharing: Does mental health affect work or vice versa?

About the event
We believe in workplaces where everyone can thrive. Good mental health at work and good management go hand in hand and there is strong evidence that workplaces with high levels of mental well-being are more productive. When job stress begins to infiltrate our personal lives, our mental health can be even more negatively affected. It is important for employers to recognise work-related stress as a significant health and safety issue. Fortunately, research on job stress has greatly expanded in recent years. But in spite of this attention, confusion remains about the causes, effects, and prevention of job stress. This presentation summarizes what is known about job stress and what can be done about it.
